Dogs are direct descendants of the might Grey Wolf. And just like wolves in the wild, dogs need a diet of raw meat, organs, bone and blood to thrive.

Cost Concerns / Too Expensive
We try our best to keep all of our pet products as economical as possible but our main focus is quality. When it comes down to it, our food is like feeding your dog Premium Steak every night for dinner. We are a family owned company that sells direct to consumer.
We produce all of our food in small batches and test each small batch for top quality control. When you order food from us you are getting a bag that has been produced within the last month.

Each bag of TruDog food is nitrogen flushed. Why?
TruDog's Feed Me and Treat Me are nitrogen flushed. A nitrogen flush removes the oxygen thereby guaranteeing fresh raw food and treats in each bag and a best-before date of 2 years with NO refrigeration required. Just store the unopened bags in a cool dry place such as a pantry.

Is there any added salt or sugar?
NO. We do not add any additional Salt or Sugar to our products. In fact we even voluntarily disclose sodium in the guaranteed analysis.

Isn't raw meat only for wild animals?
From a biological point of view, your pet dog is exactly the same as a "wild" animal. Domesticated dogs share 98.8% of their DNA with that of the grey wolf; they're the same species.
