You were 2 weeks old when I first met you. This adorable little chocolate Yorkipoo. I had given you a name even though you were not mine yet. I named you Jessie after my grandfather, but the girl version. I asked myself “could I take care of a dog? I don’t know anything about dogs and how to take care of them.”
I was so excited, I started to research and preparing the house to be your new home. I still have the video of when I first brought you home and after 4 years I still watch it. Thinking “man you have grown to be an awesome dog.” You stole my heart from day one and truly became my best friend, my dog-ter (daughter+dog) :-). I did not think I could love a dog like this. You have totally changed my perspective on animals with all the love that you give.
A year later your mom and dad had more puppies. They had a puppy just like you. I immediately wanted her but same thing with you: could I do it? I brought your sister home. Although you were not happy about it, she made you love her.
You two have been inseparable and I love it. You have helped me raise your little sister to be the sweetest dog I know. Well the 2nd sweetest dog I know ;-). I see you in her everyday. Jamie truly looks up to you, follows you, she watches you and learns from you very quickly. Thank you for being one of the best things in my life.
I love you Bubbah.
