OLLY THE JACK RUSSELL BRINGS NEW MEANING TO DOG SHOW
It can be easy to get caught up in the spirit of competition at big dog shows like the one held in the UK last week. Cruft’s Dog Show featured some impressive canine feats, but none have stolen as many hearts as Olly the Jack Russell. His run is guaranteed to make you smile.
In true Jack Russell form, he went out and had the best time of his life. His energy and “give it your all” attitude are contagious.
Olly didn’t win any awards that day, but he won the hears of millions and he reminded us that enjoying every moment of life is a dog’s goal. I think it’s just as inspiring that his handler kept such a light-hearted attitude during what many would have deemed a disastrous run. She gets it. Olly gets it. And we get it- dogs just want to have fun- especially Jack Russells!
I mean, check out that nose dive:
And it didn’t even slow him down!
Olly was rescued as a ten week old puppy and his joy is still evident. He destroyed the course and sent the commentator into hysterics. The video of his run has ben shared thousands of time online.
His little bum over teakettle airborne jump is the epitome of a Jack Russell’s energy and enthusiasm. Way to represent your breed, Olly!
